As the main site undergoes a face lift and some other changes to help bring it in to the 2000's (oh snap, yes, I do know the decade is almost out) I will be using this bridge site as well as the blog to keep you up to date on what's new and what's happening.
The collections that are currently being polished and prepped include some poetry sets, including the much talked about, Poetry for a Brave New 21st Century that has such pieces as New Politics for Anew Populous as well as the much talked about works, Discourse in a Disco'less World and Pissing your Pants in a Terrorist's Cave.
Also featured will be some of the stories from The Tremendous Tales of Thomas Tuttle series, featuring lead character Tom Tuttle as he travels through time in a set of stories that are meant to tickle your fantasy and enlighten your reality.
In a serialized format you will also find excerpts and works from other projects such as, The Legacy of Jacob and Ivy League as well as the upcoming blog-website exclusive The Cookie Factory.
The main purpose though of the website is to drive eyes, yes, that is blatant but I don't mean in the marketing 'sticky factor' sort of way. I actually would like to see people reading and comprehending, oh goodness, that latter part would be great, but I digress - I would like to see people discussing and partaking in the culture of reading and retorting.
The only real way to salvage 'literature' as a form is to update it to meet the new 2.0 culture, even reluctantly. I do find some benefit in this process, I think... and over time I may even divulge that you. For now I will just try and build a library of contemporary literary work that will rival any other, only we will do this together. I will do the grunt work, you will do the easy part, read it, discuss it, and move it forward.
As a twist on the artist-fawner relationship, I intend to include as much of my rough work and hand written notes as possible. You as a viewer, will be more of a gallery member, critiquing and leaving your approval or disapproval the works as you move along through the galleries. Each work will be available for download and also for printing. This gallery is open to a limit but there will be exhibits that will be protected. Lots of conjecture, lots of semantics and weird republican speak but, all of that aside - the main site will hopefully be all I envision and all that you can handle.
